Charlie Granade

 Charlie Granade grew up in Mobile, AL and has lived all over the country. He is a team-building consultant and medical sales rep.  Charlie has also served in various ministry capacities since he was 19 and received his education from the University of South Alabama (BA, Psychology, 1996), the University of Texas at Austin (M.A. Advertising, 1999), and Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (Masters of Theological Studies, now called "Gateway Seminary," 2007). Furthermore, he has pursued advanced training in marriage and life counseling/coaching from Marriage Team of Vancouver,WA, Coach Approach Ministries, and Prepare-Enrich.  In 2016 Charlie put his doctorate in leadership & coaching on hold at Gateway Seminary to spend more time with family and pastoring Grace Baptist.

Charlie is passionate about leading our church to know Christ and to make Him known in Rogue River and beyond.  He has written two books, (Am I Beautiful and Delight) and is passionate about helping others reach their maximum potential, including one NFL lineman.

Charlie has been married to Brooke for almost 14 years and they have two kids, Drew (age 8) and Kayden (age 3).  Brooke is a professional counselor at Crossings Counseling in Medford and Rogue River and is also an adjunct instructor at Rogue Community College in Grants Pass, OR.  Both Charlie and Brooke enjoy training lay couples in marriage coaching and in their spare time enjoy hiking, camping, and reading.


Pastor to the Seniors

Jim, came alongside our Senior Pastor and began serving as Pastor to the Seniors in September 2011. He not only serves as a volunteer here at Grace but also at the Three Rivers Hospital where he ministers as a chaplain. He and his wife Beverly have been married over 50 years, have 2 children, 1 grandson and are retired. After retirement they left California and moved into the Rogue River community and in 2007 they came to Grace and have been serving here since 2007. 

Jim will be focusing on our older adults ensuring we are aware of and meet their spiritual and physical needs, as well as, making visits, helping with outreach and coordinating senior events. He has enlisted a team of members from Grace that are available to help take folks to doctor appointments and help with basic maintenance issues.

At Grace, Jim also serves as our Sunday School Director and is a Sunday School Teacher in our Senior Adult Class. His wife Beverly is a published writer with several Christian magazines, papers and devotional quarterlies. She also leads a weekly small group home study.
