Larry came to know Jesus as Savior at 30 years of age. He served in the local church in various ministries and at the age of 42 entered the ministry. For 19 years he served as pastor of a small community church in California. Larry moved to Oregon with the thought of retiring, only to discover God had another plan - start a church, take a position as an administrative pastor, and then spend time serving as an interim pastor for 2 Southern Oregon churches here in the Rogue Valley. Then thinking he was “kinda-sorta retired” he was asked to serve here at Grace Baptist. His role includes an associate pastoral position and  assisting the Senior Pastor with administration responsiblilities. Through all of his years of ministry, his wife of 60 years, Carolyn, has served by his side. They have 4 children, 11 grand kids and 9 great-grand kids.
